Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Eye Care Clinic

This is a video I directed and edited that launched the further series of fund-raising videos donated by the Society of Camera Operators (SOC.org) to CHLA. When the SOC (then Society of Operating Cameramen) began in 1979 the Founders immediately set out to find a charity to help fund on an annual basis. Direct donations total nearly $200,000 and later as we created films for them to present to benefactors to the Vision Center donations skyrocketed into the tens of millions of dollars.
